You have to sell yourself. Getting people to hire you online without having ever met you is no easy thing to do.

We always have to think about these 3 things…
- Your proposal. This is the most important thing because this is the first thing they see. You want it to be clear and concise and your ultimate goal is to get them to check out your profile. From there, that’s when the selling is going to happen.Please whatever you do don’t copy and paste something corny….
- The Profile. This needs to be great and well thought out.Most importantly, make sure that you have a video and also a decent portfolio and a good handle on grammar.
The thing with profiles, is you want to make sure that you also include as much information as humanly possible and also include all of the different platforms and software languages that you’re familiar with in order to be picked up more by the internal SEO happening when people post jobs. So you’ll definitely want to think about that.
I always say the more the merrier.
- The Flow. You don’t want to try and kiss before you shake hands. In order to appropriately close, you want to make sure that you’re not too jumpy or needy because it will scare away the client, and cause them to believe something is wrong. You want to be confident with how you control, your entire onboarding process for getting new clients.
