Before I go through what I’m doing on Upwork, please let me explain what Upwork is NOT.  Upwork is not a get rich quick scheme or a passive income play.  You’re going to have to work for it and you’re going to need to develop skills.  I realize that’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but for those of you who can appreciate the work can earn upwards of $1-2k/ week. This is what I started making within a year of being on the platform. Yeah, not chump change right? This is what you can earn in one week.  And this isn’t the down payment for future work. This is completed work done in the same week that you’re getting paid for.

It’s amazing what you can earn in one week with Upwork.

I started on Upwork with a $40 gig and it blossomed into a profile that has earned more than $800,000!

And it continues to be one of my main sources of revenue and ways I attract clients.

Almost every day I’m invited by someone to work with them without having to do anything.

So what did I do to become successful on Upwork?

I figured out how to make myself valuable.

I learned how to develop skills that people that own online businesses NEED. 

I learned how to make my time valuable.

Your time should be precious.

Like I mentioned earlier, SALES FUNNELS and Online Automation have been my bread and butter.

And that more or less started with me learning how to build bad ass landing pages for a friend who had an online health business.  This was kind of when online businesses in information products were just getting under way.

Since then, many things have changed, and different tools have come out. Unless you truly understand the fundamentals in these areas, it’s very tough to think outside of a limited tool box.

What I’ve learned in the 20 years of doing online marketing, is that there are many toolboxes you need to learn because there’s thousands of actual tools.

And every tool solves a different problem.

When we’re talking sales funnels that automatically make money for clients online, a lot of people oversimplify it. 

Different companies sell the idea that you can set it and forget it, but the devil is always in the details.

Above and beyond everything, Upwork has done amazing things for my confidence since I am able to help so many people. The knowledge that I’ve been able to accumulate by working with so many diverse clients has been extraordinary.

Got me out of $50K in credit card debt

By making a decent amount of money through Upwork, I’ve been able to get past a huge credit card issue I succumbed to from two failed businesses.

Was able to see 18 countries in two years and spend months abroad

Because I can login from anywhere around the planet, I’ve been able to travel the world with my fiancée and work whenever I want. Now I split my time between Europe and Los Angeles, which could never have been an option for me or even a real possibility.

I live at the beach!

I now am able to split my time living between Brussels and Los Angeles.  Because I work from home, as long as I have internet, I’m good. Surfing has been an amazing hobby to start taking up. I recommend it to anyone reading!

Living my dream

At 36, I’m now able to live out my dream because I have created freedom for myself and can work from anywhere. I never could imagine commuting to an office to work for someone else ever again.

I’m not saying any of this to brag. Quite the opposite — I want to show you that you can do it too.

It has already made hundreds of thousands, if not millions of contracts all across the world, and has been featured in almost every single major publication in the USA.
